Took my 4th of July to head out to Desire. On water at 8:15. Trolled two wedding rings, both orange in color. Had a stock trout within 100 yards from the launch in 5 minutes. Then things were quiet for a long time. Changed up my pattern on the boat and started crossing it short ways instead of end to end. Hit another stocker on a fast turn on the ring. Two on, two in. No other hits.
