I haven't done this hike in about 40 years, so I got up early and made the long drive. Google said the FS road was closed but it's not, it is rough though. I quickly got to the lake and pumped up my raft and fished all around it without any signs of fish. Someone did see one fingerling so I looked and it was about 3 inches. Then I went to Coal lake and there were a few fish eating bugs but they were very small and wouldn't bite bait or lures. Very bad fishing up there but the views are amazing.
