We were fishing from about 10am to 2pm. It was going to be a nice day. Sunny and mid 70’s. The low tide was at 8:22am at -1.3 and high was going to come at 4:34pm 11.4 feet. We went over to the Owens Beach Clay Banks area where I did get one. The current was pretty strong and the jigs I had weren’t very heavy. Therefore, we moved toward the Point Ruston area. The current wasn’t as strong here. That is where we got our other 3. Our netting ratio has gone up, 100%.
My son was having one of fishing’s bad days. If he casted left they were right. Cast right they were left. Cast far they were near. Ever have one of those days? He did get 2 in the boat toward the end of our time there.
