We launched at the Point just before 9am and saw jumping salmon as we rounded the rocks that are below the yacht club. We stopped and caught a few. But within the hour it slowed. We stayed for a while then went over by Point Ruston. Then came back to the Slag Pile and caught a few. Then over towards Owens Beach to finish. I thought within the first 15 minutes it was going to be easy limits but it took until 1pm.
The water was 57 degrees. It was overcast at the begging but the sun broke through.
We were using a Wannafish A Lure 1/2 oz jig white head pink and oranges, pink and purple Rotator, and a P-Line Kokanator pink and orange 3/4oz. The Rotator is now at the bottom of Puget Sound.
The tides were High 9:16 AM 9.6 foot and Low 2:46 PM 5.0 foot
