I did an unadvised fishing hike this morning while everyone else was still in bed. It was cool, cloudy, windy and then rainy for most of the time I was there. A few fish were jumping when I got there but by the time I got my raft on the water the bite was slower. The water felt really warm so I think the lake is turning over and so the fish seemed to be mostly deep. I ended up landing 3 cutties around 8-9 inches. I didn't see any other people until I was halfway back to the parking lot. Once the water cools off a bit maybe the fish will be easier to find.
