I went to Gibbs lake Saturday with my kayak and was on the water before 8. Lots of fish were feeding, mostly towards the middle of the lake, but they wouldn't bite either spoons or spinners. Then around 8:30 I started catching little cutthroats near the shore and then I caught two bass which really surprised me. The bite seemed to die around 10 and I didn't get any more bites except for one lunker holdover trout. I had the entire lake to myself and the park only had one or two other people while I was there which was nice.
I'm writing this at work and our security seems to be blocking photo uploads, sorry.
