Went out and floated Clear Lake this evening. The bite turned on about 7:30. First started hooking them on a Kokanee Killer spoon. After a while the bite slowed down, so while I was changing up, This big fish comes up slowly and took a real close look at me and my boat. My heart started beating faster, and my fingers started to fumble. By the time I got my rig tied on, The fish was gone. I did manage to catch a few more planters before dark. Surface temp was a perfect 58 degrees.
