Well, decided to head out for Kapowsin after catching a few rainbows before. When we got there, we cast out using our slip bobbers set at about four feet. Worm and P-Bait is all we used, but we used it in combo... PBait for the visual and worm for the meaty smell.
Within an hour we landed our first fish, a nice 16 inch rainbow. After that it was all diehard, it seemed the fish just wanted to die. We ended up with two four or five pounders (I am DEAD SERIOUS), and 9 14-16"ers.
The slip bobber is a fairly easy setup. We put the bead on very top, then the slip bobber. After that comes a couple (2 or 3) split-shots, followed by a swivel. We usually use a 1 1/2 to 2 foot leader of three pound test and a size ten or size 8 egg hook. They seem to just gobble the whole thing up.
