Got to Kapowsin at 4:30 p.m., launched from the dock and started by heading to N.E. end of lake and started with grubs and also a top water bait. Got a couple of hits on both and pulled in a couple of 8 ouncers then continued around the lake hitting particular points. No bites until around 8:00 P.M. on N.W. side of dock (THREE HUNDRED YARDS), when we ( Jt, Justin and Myself) started getting furocious hits on stealth worms and grubs off the shoreline, none hooked. Then at around 8:45 P.M. I (the newbie) cast out a stealth black worm between two logs, shaped like an L, and let it slowly sink, as I was reeling in slowly, I let it creep on to some lily pads ( approximately 4 ft. away) then sink down in the middle of the pads and as the worm sloooowly sunk BOOOM!! A two pound largemouth snatched the worm. :o) MADE MY DAY!!!! IT'S UNBELIEVABLE FOR ME AS A BEGINNER BASSER TO COMPREHEND THE STRIKING POWER OF SUCH A SMALL FISH...AMAZING!!! EVEN MORE AMAZING IS THE GIDDY FEELING THAT OVERCOMES ME (you too, don't lie) WHEN LANDING A LARGEMOUTH, LIKE A CHILD ON CHRISTMAS MORNING...LOL LOL !!!!! I LOVE IT AND I AM HOOKED FOR LIFE!!!
