This was the best trip I had in a long time. last week was the first time ever that I fished this lake. I limited out on small ones on two different days but kept hearing stories of big ones. well, this was the day. I got to the lake at 9 o.k. and it was raining pretty good. after about one hour I had a hit.KABLAM, this was the one I've been hearing about. I landed it and it weighed 6 lbs. I was hysterical I cast my line out again in around the same spot and 15 minutes later another one. I fought it for about 7 or 8 min. and it was almost on shore when my line snapped. it was at least the same size if not bigger than my first one. I was so mad but just smiled looking at the one I already had on my stringer. I fished for about 3 more hours and finally limited out. The rest were average size pan fish but it was fun. By the way, my location was to the left side of the dock facing it fishing from the bank in the little wooded area and all the fish this day were all on yellow power bait!
