After leaving Horseshoe Lake, we ran into another angler we knew from last year & he told us to go to Stansberry. They had planted 500 of the larger rainbows. Ranging from 16"-25"s, so we headed there. Unfortunately, they weren't biting unless you were using worms or powerbait. Sometimes I hate hatchery fish!! :-) I did have some good hits, but being new to Chronie fishing, I haven't mastered the art of setting the hook. So I lost those 3 fish. :-( I will try again soon after they've gotten out of their hatchery habits.
