Got to the lake at around 5-30 with my mom. Instantly started to hook into killer triploids, kept 3 for the fryer but we had our 10. Right as we were living kiro 7 came by and interviewed me, got on the news with my 3 fish, and me saying how the lake was so hectic. sniff this is the happiest day of my life lol. If you wanna catch the big ones the key is in getting your bait WAY out there. I used an ounce and a half of weight, 4 pound test, and a 6 and a half foot rod. The leader should be about 7' if you fish deep, if you fish shallow 4-5' is plenty. I was fishing on the side of the dock so I was casting into the boat launch area. Most people think this is the worst spot.... but this is where the fish are stocked. Tomorrow I'll be heading out to cottage with some friends, Wednesday I'm back here. Good luck all.
