I have fished this lake for over the last five years
the only place I ever catch fish is up by the water fall's in the hot months June July and august
today I took the day and went there for some under water fishing there is a whole array of fish
at all kind's of depths I went down to the bottom of the lake this afternoon at down too 100 feet
and it is deeper than that I found a spot that is 140 feet deep up by the water fall's
but I like scuba diving around the boat launch around there out in the center is about 100 feet down
and there are big under water towers and a lot of sun fish and trout and all so walleye
around this one small tower or under water island straight out from the boat launch.
there is all kind's of fish straight out from the boat launch on billy clap lake I don't no why you guys can't catch them all you need is time and some patience and a fish pole line and a can of earth worm's
.when I scuba dive there I like taking under water pictures with my video camera and or my new digital camera setup by Canon camera company.

This lake is fun too scuba dive in it's pretty big but down about
100 feet there is a real bad current where the water empties in too the canals
and out and down from the fall's up and the north end of the lake
those both end's are just like diving off the mouth of the U.S.Goverment Lock's in Ballard Washington
where the canal system empties into the Puget sound and out too the ocean
there you have too use a lot of lead wait but not in The fresh water in billy clapp lake
Be careful you can tie in too one of those ugly fish down at the bottom I see once in awhile
they are the ugliest fish I have ever seen in any lake they are long as logs and Ugly
there what you call STURGEON. THEY are about down about 140 feet deep
any way there's a lot of walleye and panfish and trout about 10 feet down too 50 feet
when I have my boat out on the lake about 5:30 in the evening
I only fish with a bottom walker and worms or still fish with a worm and that's about it here
the fish are there but you have too just wait them out and they will bite but you have too fish ether after dawn in the A.M. or around night fall and they will bite on worm's.
