We arrived at Curlew on the 4th of August. That evening we caught 3 'bows, the largest around 4 lbs. After dark for the next 5 nights we caught between 3 and 4 trout per night. Some were in the 12-14 inch range, some between 3 and 4 pounds. I caught a 24" 5 pound 12 oz. rainbow. This is the biggest trout (excluding steelhead) that I have ever caught. We did not catch any trout trolling, these were all caught off of Tiffany's dock at dusk or later. This was the best trout fishing we have had at Curlew (as far as big fish go).
I will say that the bass fishing was slower than I have seen it before, but we started fishing deeper (between 10 and 15 feet) for them and we did o.k.
We also fished Ferry lake one day and it was it's usual great fishing for rainbows between 12-14 inches.
