Arrived at the windy lake at 10:05.... We launched the "Trout Express" and went to the south side of the lake and trolled a "rubber frog" Yep...a rubber frog... just like the kind you use when your catching bass in the lilly pads.... My partner and I caught many many fish....the largest was a 26 inch rainbow with beautiful color !(caught by my partner) The smallest, which was also caught by my partner, was 8 inches... One German Brown (17 inches)! All caught on a rubber frog... the secret is spray the heck out of it with wd-40 and add 1 ounce weight (inline) approx. 3 feet ahead of the frog... troll at 2 mph and catch lots of fish.... we averaged 2 or 3 hits every 10 minutes... it was non-stop action until we left at 5:00 pm....Have fun and get them rubber frogs soaked in wd-40 !
