Well, This lake is doing really well if you know where and how to fish it. Lake St. Clair is about 110' deep in the deepest part and the fish are suspending around the 25-35' range. Two of my friends and I picked up 11 nice 1-2 pounders about 3 days ago.. I went back yesterday by myself and struggled with a limit of my own. Using about a 3' leader, 1/8th oz worm weight, bead barrel swivel, small yellow corky and an orange magnum power egg on a size 6 gamakatsu hook. Be careful, I had to switch to a size 6 hook instead of my usual size 10 because the fish kept straightening the hook out. The corky is just used to help my power bait stay afloat. Didn't catch nothing without the power bait though. I went there the first day about 7 am till 2 pm, I showed up in the afternoon a couple of days later and they were still active. Most fish full of eggs or sperm. I might let you know all of this but I'm not gonna tell you where I was fishing!!! good luck on finding a spot, remember between 20-35 feet. We were drifting with no anchor by the way.
If anyone has any good info on any lakes in western wa please e mail me. E-mail-Address:: Sinker15@aol.com I wouldn't mind fishing with someone new .
