I went to Lake Cushman on my last day of school to camp with all my family members. The last several times I fished this lake I didn't had any bites at all. I didn't catch anything on the 17th but I had a couple bites in 4 hours. VERY SLOW. The next morning (the 18th) my cousin and I got up early in the morning about 5:30 am and try our luck again. After 3 hours of slow fishing, I landed a nice fat rainbow. The fish was 14 and a half inches and about 1 pound. I took that fish back to our camp ground right away and cleaned it. One thing that surprised me was that it had eggs in it. I left later that afternoon after going on another trip of clam digging and oyster shucking. That was really fun but the lake is really far from where I live (Seattle), so I couldn't go there that often :( Anyway that was a very very fun trip and I'm looking forward to go there again this summer, hopefully.
PS: The fish had really nice orange meat and it tasted GOOD!!!
