On June 6 2005, Pedro wrote a report saying he had caught a 7 foot white sturgeon on Lake Washington.
Recently I had heard the world record white sturgeon was only 474 lbs and I had seen a picture of one over 1400 lbs on a t.v. show, so I went to MSN and typed in sturgeon to search for that picture I had seen on the t.v. show and I found the exact same picture on result's page 7 that Pedro had posted earlier. The picture was taken by a guide service called David Johnson's Oregon Fishing Guide, on the Columbia River.
I know that there are some sturgeon in Lake Washington, just last Summer the UW fisheries boat had netted one, but I honestly dont think that there are that many that Pedro could've caught one on a rod & reel.

I just learned that to set the world record sturgeon, it would have to be 42"-60" long unlike the one from the t.v. show.
