Fished the lake on May 24 with a friend. Trolled flies with limited success (about 3-5 fish/hour) so we went over to double hedges to try bait. Few fish in the deep water so we went shallow (about 10-15 feet) and caught as many as we wanted until we left. Wind was strong and that made it uncomfortable to fish. Went back on May 27 with same friend and my brother who was here from Virginia. Fishing slow for first two hours (and weather was terrible). Tried trolling flies with limited success and tried bait fishing with less success. bite came on at about 10:30 and we caught about 25-30 fish trolling flies from then to noon. Hot fly was the orange carrie special with the spruce fly being a distant second. Still lots of fish in the lake waiting for the weather to settle down.
