I fished this 102 acre lake north of Omak for the first time this weekend and was pleasantly surprised. Weather was unsettled most of the weekend, but temps were in the low 70's, so made for perfect fishing weather. I lost track of how many trout and bass I caught and released fishing a spinner. I fished a marshmallow and worm durring the slow times and caught one nice 3 lb trout and 4 others about 1.5 lb apiece that I brought home for the smoker. I'm not a bass fisherman, but I believe they were smallmouth. I spoke with a local and he said they killed this lake off 3 years ago, so it looks like another lake has been illegaly restocked with bass. The trout were very fat, so they don't look to be suffering yet. I did catch a huge orange crawdad, so that was a big surprise to pull up!
