Went out to bonney with a friend with no success went for largemouth through everything in our arsenal cranks,jerks,plastics,jigs, and spinner baits.
Talked to a local homeowner and he told me that he has seen too many food fisherman out there depleting the bass pop. If they would just put aside their stomachs for a minute and go fish for trout and bluegill this lake may rebound with the few fish in this lake that won't get fooled. We saw tons of fingerling
bass so if we could get the time they could rebound. Please get the word out of catch and release or just not fishing for them at all. Tight lines.
