Very windy in the Columbia Gorge. Too windy to launch a boat so son Don and I decided to cast lures from the shoreline to try to entice a few smallmouth bass. We caught several fish up to 15 1/2 inches. Spinner baits, crankbaits and grubs were the most effective lures
