I took my friends 13 year old son to Cottage lake for the evening bite and we had many bites on trolled worms. We caught 5 fish total. 1 yellow perch, 1 very small bass, 2 Rainbow trout and 1 cutthroat trout. The trout were 11-13 inches. This was a wonderful trip for the 13 yr old who I believe will become a good fisherman. He was patient and showed great desire to fish. I took pictures and was able to share them thru email. Cottage lake has many fish indicated by the fish finder and most were 100 ft off shore in 10-12 ft of water hanging 1-2 ft from the bottom. A slow trolled worm can't be ignored it seems. Tight lines and take a kid fishing to receive a special gift (the smile of child).
