I went out with my two brothers on opening day. It was a little slow at first but towards the end of the day it really picked up. we were using power eggs and they seemed to work really well. How we set it up was we had a weight on the bottom and about 12 inches up we had a swivel with a hook on it then another one 12 inches above that. It seemed to work really well. We fished from about 1 in the afternoon to 5 or 6. We were in a boat and caught most of our fish about 50 yards out from the old sinking dock. another good spot was on the far end of the lake by the lilly pads. I caught 12 trout, my older brother caught 9 and my little brother caught 5. most of the fish we around 12 or 13 inches, the biggest one of the day was 14.5 inches. Good lake to fish, will probably go back out next week and try for some bass. Oh yeah, saw a lot of people taking more fish than they needed, you should CATCH AND RELEASE so the fish will get bigger and so we won't deplete the resource as fast, only keep a couple PLEASE.
