I had to run errands during the day I went so didn't hit the lake till late afternoon -- the hottest part of the day and -- still did very well.
I'm not into the trolling scene very much, I used my float tube, because I enjoy throwing dries , but I did well @ the far end of the lake by the stumps with a black beadhead woollybugger.
I did see some guys wading out as far as they could casting toward the stumps but didn't see any ringers. considering that end of the lake gets the first shade of the day, least swimming pressure, and the fact that the wind blows that way and should be blowing all the insects and other food that way, it shouldn't be any surprise that that is the productive area to fish.
