Finally the lake has got some new stock. Earlier this week, two truck loads of fish arrived and dropped out some nice sized rainbows. Everyone is happy, that's for sure. After this last month and a half of tough fishing, its a great break for a lot of heart broken fishermen I've seen. Guys all of a sudden are talking big and walking like they got something stuck in their pants. My trick is this, my trick is that, heck I know howta catch 'em they say. Everyone's an expert all of a sudden. Its great to see that little shine in their eyes again, heck especially this close to Christmas and all. Anyway, get out there, the fish are there and hungry. Wooly buggers and crappy jigs are slamming them. Oh, if you take the kids and want them to surely catch some fish, I suggest those little green trout worms from Berkley with a little octopus hook and a split shot a foot above it. Have them real it in slow and then stop and wait, then real it in and wait again. My 6 year old son used this!
system and caught his limit in 15 minutes, easy. See ya on the lake.
