Fished lake ki for the opener on sat. we headed for the lake at about 4:30am hoping to beat the crowd think again the lake was packed at 5:00am there were a ton of boats and bank fishermen. If you ever go to the lake the launch is terrible no dock or anything and its really shallow where you launch. well the fishing was unbelievable in 5 min my dad had 5 bumps but no takers, we were using a weeding ring spoon and a medium size dick nite (gold and silver) these were killers. In a half an hour we could have had our limit but we were taking the bigger fish. The fish were anywhere from 10 to 14 the jumbo fish but we hooked a nice 16 inch hold over. The bite was best in the morning at around 5:30 to 7:30 we only fished for 3 hours and got our limit and released about 10 a piece if you get a chance this lake is a must!!!
