Finally made it down to my lake with my 2 daughters this afternoon. I was in the water about 2 min with marshmallow and worm and had a good hit. I started to reel and could tell it was a decent fish, but it felt really sluggish and didn't fight much. To my surprise I pulled out a 3 lb catfish!...Storm used to be a top trout producer, but about 6 years ago, someone illegally put in some bass. Now the bass have taken off and the trout fishing has gone downhill since. I even caught a bluegill several years ago, so there must be someone doing their own stocking program. There still is decent trout fishing, but not like the old days. We fished for about a hour and a half and we did catch 5 bows. Several were skinny 5-6 inch. fish, so the self appointed stocking program is doing a fine job!
