It was finally Summer. The temperature was 80+. A lot of swimmers and those crazy jetskiers were all over the place, the water level had shot down which made the fish move on to better pastures. I caught a couple of native cut throats which jump like they were small mouth. the biggest was 15 inches. These natives were green back with spots on the side and the distinct red markings under the lower jaw. I have to mention the rudeness
and carelessness of some of the Park Partisans when we arrived with my Van towing my boat we noticed the public beach was crowded and the Main Park sign said Full. As I entered the Public boat launch there was only a couple of spaces left, the time was about 2:00 PM . My main gripe was that people whom were parking at the boat launch were taking all the spaces that were
for the boats or watercraft. I ended up detaching my trailer and hand parking it separate from my Van and a happy camper was trying to save one of the spaces for a buddy. I had to explain to this person what a public boat launch parking lot is for. It took awhile but he got the message. I stay out till dusk just
wetting lures and worms and headed to load up and go home. I noticed a note on my windshield stating that a happycamper had a little friendly fender bender leaving his mark on my vehicle . It was thoughtful and courteous to leave a name and # Thanks Guy if your reading this lets hope the Lake can attract more people like you....Its up to all of us! There shall be better fishing days coming up I'll let ya know. Next trip will be Sturgeon on the Columbia Go FISH! ......<:{{{{{{{{{<
