Lake Kapowsin is a great lake for bass,panfish and trout.I have caught Largemouth Bass and Rainbow Trout while still fishing with a worm and marshmellow.Nice trout in the teen's trolling with a wedding ring spinner along the west side of the island.
But I think that Kapowsin has alot to offer to the bass fisherman
because of all of the great structure out there,lot's of downed tree's and stump's,lillypad's and various weed's for the fish to hide in.
I've caught bass with yellow&white spinnerbait,plastic worms and night crawler's.One time at dusk coming back in to Erickson's Boat Launch( which by the way is about the only way to get a small boat on to the lake ) with a couple of 16" bass, a luckier angler came up to the dock with a big smile on his face and a 7lb's bass on his stringer using a crainkbait.This was September of 1998 by the way!
