My father and I went fishing at cottage lake because we heard
there were some big bass in there. It was a pain getting our boat in the water because there is no boat launch. Finally, we got our boat in, we started to work our way around the lake. We didn't catch anything for about a half hour, until we caught a few small fish. I caught a 1.5 pound bass and was pleased with myself. At about 11:30, I hooked into another fish next to a log. I thought the fish had wrapped up around the log, when the line move
way far to the right I knew I had a big fish on. This fish fought me for about two minutes. When I got it close to the boat I saw the biggest largemouth I had ever seen. After we got it in the boat we put it on the scale, that hawg weighed 7lbs. My dad took several pictures of me and that fish. I released her and watched it swim away.
