I've been fishing most of my 13 years and I am considered by all who know me to be an avid fisherman. I've caught a few nice trout here and there but this day at Lake Fenwick I beat my best AND my Dad'best! I was fishing by the small dock across from the blue float and I saw a male and a female bass. I was going for the male but when I tossed my worm out the female came out of the weeds and took the worm. I jerked the pole and I didn't know if I had it until it started pulling! Then I reeled it in as quick as I could. I showed it to my buddy who was fishing off the dock by the boat ramp. It measured 19 inches, 6 lbs 8 ozs. There was an old timer there that said he'd been fishing Lake Fenwick since he was a boy and my bass was the biggest bass he'd ever seen come out of there. My Mom makes me take the cell phone for emergencies and I thought this qualified so I called and she came right down to see it.
