Fished from 6:30 am to 12:30 pm for steelies off the shore at the mouth of the tuccannon river caught one squaw fish and partner had a good strike didn't see any fish boated and seen a few fish rolling went up to lower goose dam and fished outside the fish ladder exit had a smolt hit was all fished their till 4:30pm what a day skunked so far went to fish viewing room my god seen some big steelies and asked how many for the day so far 1000 she said the 5 of 10 mins I was there. Their were some big steelies and the counter said it was almost all large ones today and seems like the run so far is larger fish 15 to 20 lbs walk to the wall to see how the combat fishing was going and they had caught a few in the morning one boy about 14 got a 15 1/2 lb that morning. so went up to the lions ferry hatchery to see if we could at least get in the dusk bite not many fish caught their either we fished for about 1 1/2 and went back to Spokane we had talked to one state worker think name is joe he said on Saturday they were knocking em dead at the mouth of tuccannon river and today at washtucana (spelling ) they were boating a lot of steelies we were using shrimp bought from starbucks store Becky sells the small ones and cures them for you and also blue fox spinners but they didn't help this time last year seen a lot of steelies hope the weather gets cooler or we wont see any of the big ones.
