The weather was great, the fishing slow. Fishing off the dam was the best bet, with my wife catching a six inch smallie. That was it, a few nibbles at the dam, but the other access areas on the south side of the lake produced nothing. We did not really see anyone catching much of anything but a sunburn. If you plan on staying at the state park, make reservations.
