We live in the Vancouver area and drove up to Riffe lake early
Sunday Morning it is about 1 hour and fifity minutes from our house. Any wayput in at Mossy Rock and went about a mile upstream on the south shore and started trolling we used pop gear with wedding rings and brought with us worms power bait , and cocktail shrimp. We had three poles out two on the top
and one on the down rigger as soon as we spotted fish on finder we started getting hits on the down rigger. The cocktail shrimp really worked well for the coho and kokanee. The top poles wern't having any action so we poled them in and put diving weights on them with imediate results. We caught about 10 coho in varing sizes and released them all. Only caught one kokanee
and releashed it also. We decided to go the north side of the lake and troll there for rainbow or stellhead and wern't disappoitned. We were just slowing down to troll and my wife put her wedding ring with a worm on out about 10 pulls and the water in back of the boat exploded as a stellhead hit her lure and worm and the battle was on. These fish hit hard and are exciting to
catch. Next it was my turn a steel head hit my rod (on the down rigger 10ft down) and flew out of the water taking the pop gear with it. We landed both fish and my wife plans on fish dinner Monday night. Good fishing.
