Did a morning trip to check out the spawning Chinook and catch a few cutts if lucky. Fished from 6am to 9:30am. Saw a few salmon jumping in the area of Issaquah Creek. No take-downs on my trolled gear, and the bank fishermen had no luck either. I had NO bites all morning, despite trying a variety of lures and depths. Regarding the hopefully soon to open Chinook fishery, seems like fishing at the mouth of the creek would be a good bet, maybe slowly retrieving a corky or spin-n-glow? Nayone have ideas?
