After reading the last report I had to go check out this lake. It was Awesome! I got there about nine and already there were quite a few people out on boats trolling and pulling them in left and right. I went over and fished on from the bank not more than 10 minutes I landed a beautiful Brownie. He was a little small about 12 inches I think so I let him go. then bout 1/2 hour later hooked a nice 14inch Rainbow, well he decided he didn't want to be dinner so when I got the hook off him, he said later and jumped outta my net. then I landed a cutthroat same size and kept him. kinda died off after that, bout 2 hours later I gotta good strong hit so I start reeling him in all of the sudden I look off into the distance and it's my fish making this huge jump, this guy was a fighter! considering I was only using 4 pound test I decided I let this guy tire out first, he made a couple more jumps and thrash about for a good ten minutes, finally he tired and I got him in. It was a cutthroat bout 14-16 inches. Wow I hadn't had that much fun in a long time!. The whole day was completely Awesome. Goose Lake has got to be one of the most beautiful places. I know I didn't hook a lot but I don't think I did too bad from the bank.
