Hit the lake about 3pm,, there was only one other fisherman out there. I had both my kids with me (16month & 4yr old), we had a pier all to ourselves. The first 30 minutes there was not a single bite so I decided it would be a good time to feed the kids, two minutes later I looked up and my ultralight rod was bent completely over!! I had my 16month old son in my lap so I reached over, grabbed the rod and set the hook! My son fell in between my legs and my daughter took off running but all my attention was on the fish and after several runs on my drag he finally surfaced. What a fish!!! He was huge!! I left my net home but thanks to the nice fisherman from the other pier we were able to use his net to get the big monster on the dock. I didn't have a scale but he had to weigh between 4 and 5lbs. That was the only fish caught and it was well worth the trip!
