So you hear it from a reliable source first, there has been a breach in the Silver Lake Dam and the protective fish weir. We are losing water through a large hole (approximately 65 feet long). We are also losing fish but are not sure at what rate.

We will go up this morning to evaluate the situation and see what we can do to keep the fish inside of the lake, especially the grass carp. It is going into the outlet creek which feeds the Toutle which goes into the Columbia, pretty messy right now...
