Fished the lower lake for about 2 hrs without a bite, so moved to the upper lake. Fishing a marshmallow and worm picked up 3 nice fat 15-16 inch trout in a 5 min period. The bite went off and it took another 1.5 hrs to get another bite and fish. Fish are in excellent shape. Several in a canoe were doing well trolling gang trolls. The nice sunny weather turned to rain showers, so I packed up and headed back to my camping spot. PS, I see a report that the world famous fisherman Mike Carey was fishing the lower lake with no luck. That must have been you in the double pontoon boat!......You should have gone to the upper lake. I did see one fish caught in the lower lake on the walk back out.

*Editor's Note: "World Famous" - that's a scary thought! But yup, that was me and my 12 year old, James. The lake humbled us that day.
