Fished Silver Lake today for the 3rd time this season. Water temp at the public boat launch was 53 degres at 6am . The lures for the day for me was jig with pig and jig with plastic craw. first fish was caught on rock soreline with pork on jig and swam off with just line moving off. second fish wanted lure (jig and plastic Craw) for it swam out from brush pile and grabed lure as I was lifting bait for next flip into same brush pile. Third fish seen in brush pile setting on top of a limb. Flipped into brush pile and line moved off as fish picked up lure. (rubber craw with jig) Fish weighted out to be 6lb 8oz Largest to date for this year(Notice brush pile in back ground of picture)Lake on main lake was 60 degrees at 5 pm and lot higher in the channels at midday.
