I guess a 1 would be more deserving, but I give it a two because I caught my first bass! Well I have caught a few while targeting other species, but this time I was really going for bass...Went from about 4:15 to 5:50 pm around some docks and trees for bass...Jimmy had a bass hit his chartreuse spinnerbait, and my lipless crankbait didn't do anything but a 5 inch olive colored worm got him...Nothing big, but about a 10 inch largemouth...He managed to give a great fight and it was sure a real treat to get rewarded with a bass after researching how to fish for bass and what not...Trolled around from 6:15 to about 7:45pm for trout, nothing for us...maybe a few hits but nothing really interesting...I trolled a red f4 flatfish with black spots deep and mr. Jimsoks went with a fire tiger needlefish, but neither could get us a trout to the boat. I guess we didn't trout fish the whole hour and a half we kind of explored the other lake on the north side of the lake...so yea hopefully the trout fishing will get a little better and the bass will get a little more active...pics to come later!
