Here is a photo taken on opening day of trout season at the new boat launch at Mineral Lake about 10 am. Notice the pair of Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife officers monitoring the opening day action with clip boards in hand. They recorded a good number of trout being caught including a couple of 4+ pounders by early morning.
