Fished the SW end of the lake in the middle with a lure from Walmart. Looks like a minature hot shot (1-1/4" long) and is rainbow trout colord with two small split shot. Cast it as far as you can and troll about 1 to 1.5 knots. Picked up two to 14 to 16 inch trout and had several hits.
Warning: If you pull a boat DO NOT GO TO THE Lake Sawyer Grocery store which is about 1/2 mile before the public boat launch. They do not want you in there. I parked at the end of the lot as far out of the way as construction would allow. The guy in the store went ballistic and would not take my purchases. Just an FYI
