Nice morning, sun shining. 6:30 am launch in the shallow launching area, 15 feet from the busy road. Sure would be nice if who ever manages the lakes in WA could dig out the launch area in this lake just a little so we could launch with our boats actually in the water. Sorry, it just gets old launching a boat w/trailer in 6 inches of water. There were less fish jumping and the fish finder was showing the fish deeper so trolling the usual stuff we’ve been slaying them on the last couple of weeks wasn’t working near as well this weekend. I trolled several fly patterns including black and olive buggers. Just a few bumps is all. Trolled a Mack’s flash lite and wedding ring w/power bait and caught one plant. Also trolled a small flasher trailed by a green dick nite with no luck. Three hours of this was enough! Fishing was poor.
