I showed up at the park around 10:30 and pushed the float tube out into the water. I put on an olive wolly and kicked out about a hundred yards. Talked some people in baots and they had gotten a couple over 14 inches. I had just taken my first fish about 14 inches and had the fly in the water about 10 feet deep. I just picked up my rod and there was a fish on! I knew right away it was big when it stripped off about 30 feet of fly line. I got it to the float tube and measured 18 inches and fat. I almost lost it twice as the action was still on above water.
