Took my 3 year old grandson out for his very first fishing trip. We went to Phillips lake and stayed within 100 yards of the boat ramp. I rigged him (Adrian) up a float with sinkers so it just barely sank, a 4 foot leader and just enough worm to cover the hook. Adrian caught 9 fish in 2 hours including 8 sun fish and and 1 nice 12-13 inch trout that he caught "all by my self". It was a day I will never forget. Adrian told everybody he met on shore about his days catch and even told them how to catch fish. I have fished a lot of lakes in the area, but I advice Phillips lake for kids as its loaded with fish that can be caught from shore or a boat right at the boat ramp. Its a real kids lake as well as having some bruiser bass in it as well as good sized trout.. Happy fishing and tight lines. Bruce
