Showed up at the lake around 10:30am and Launched from area 3. I had a red wedding ring tied on with a 3 way swivel and two split shots to get it down. The boat was being trolled at about half speed which is perfect for trolling lures. The first bite hit about 30 seconds after launching. Then as we continued heading toward the south corner of the lake I hooked up 3 more times all fish were between 8 and 12 inches. There were also a couple of strikes that we lost in this time period. My fishing partner was using a gold and green dicknite rigged the same as my wedding ring he hooked up with a couple and also lost a couple of about the same size. Then about lunch time the bite stopped as the clouds burned off and the sun came out for what as fantastic day on the lake. The lake is better in the earlier part of the day before the suns is above the lake . This lake has potential to yeild some big fish if you can get your lure down to them which is difficult with stringent regulations.
