It was a cloudy but calm day on Tapps. As usual we had to go to the edges where the stumps are to avoid the very rude ski boats. There were about a dozen fisherpeople (that we saw) and probably that may skiers and tubers. It wasn't hard to find a quiet place to flip a couple top water lures, worms and flatfish to catch a few smallies, a perch and a bluegill. It was a nice relaxing time. We got on the water about 8:30am and lasted until about 3pm. We droped the underwater camera in the channel that runs through the middle and saw mostly a sandy clear bottom. We also ran it through the thermocline at around 13' (at least that's where they were on the fish finder through most of the lake) but still saw no fish. Overall it was a fun time and we didn't get skunked.
