Arrived at my grandma’s house with the intention to take my 11ft aluminum boat out on the lake and troll for some trout but with the way the wind was blowing I abandoned that idea rather quickly. So I rigid up a slip sinker setup to fish of the bottom with. I used a 1/8oz. slip sinker with a gamakotsu bait hook (#10) with a 2ft 6in leader (6lb test) and two power eggs on the hook. The fishing was slow it took me hour before I caught my fist fish. I caught a total of 5 fish with the biggest being 10in and the smallest being 7in. Even though the fish were small they still put up a good fight on my ultra light pole.
